Description:
The SLG I2 is a compact and cost saving reader unit, which can be integrated in an industrial field bus network. It decodes and writes on all passive RF-tags.
Because of its small and compact dimensions (90x58x38 mm), the SLG I2 is ideally suited for integration of RF-identification in completely automated production lines and conveying and transport systems. In short: Everywhere where goods or product carries have to be traced.
This reader decodes the tags and provides them for further processing to an RS232, Bluetooth, USB or Profibus DP interface.
The technology of the SLG I2 antenna allows also the identification of tags which are - flushed with the surface - embedded in metal. The reading clearance depends on the tag type and size.
The SLG I2 housing already contains one of three standard antennas. Alternatively, a number of external antennas are available.
